Synopsis:
The “Pinkie Connection” is about Bethany Scott who left her hometown
at age eighteen under painful circumstances. Thirty years later she
returns, a changed person. She has become a writer of those cute little
‘fluff’ stories you read in the magazines at the doctor’s office. She
is a creature of habit and a little bit obsessive compulsive as she
struggles to keep her life under control. Each day of the week is assigned
very specific activities and each day includes time for writing her
stories. Her life is simple, structured, and boring.
All that is about to change when she glimpses a flash of pink which releases
memories and secrets from her past. A whirlwind of change confronts her
present and alters her future forever.

Author Information:
Barbara Travis and Terry, her husband, live in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. They
have four adult children who have blessed them with seven lovely granddaughters.
Barbara is a retired Registered Nurse. Pursuing a lifelong ambition,
she returned to college after her children were grown. In 1999, she
earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
She is excited to publish her second novel, "The Pinkie Connection."
